This 172.6-acre peaceful parcel of land is set aside to preserve it as it may have been found many centuries ago. Enjoy the hiking trails, water, wildlife, and woods. The preserve is dedicated to the Ahlgren family, and to all of the others who have made Polk County and Wisconsin great.

The property is managed for non-motorized recreational, forestry, and educational purposes. A parking lot, on the west side of the property along 150th street, was constructed in 2016, and in 2017, an initial walking trail was constructed.

The Park is used primary as a walking and wildlife viewing area.
