Civil Process
The Polk County Sheriff's Office Civil Process Division is to exercise civil jurisdiction throughout Polk County and provide quality customer service with respect to the service of process, the execution of judgments, enforcement of court orders and other legal papers and documents within the jurisdiction of Polk County only. Civil documents are served on behalf of individuals, private attorneys, the Court and County departments and agencies.
Prepayment is required for paper service unless a waiver of fees is granted by the Courts. Payments can be made by check, money order, exact cash amounts or by credit card. Please review the attached fee schedule and complete an Information Sheet. The Information Sheet must be completed and attached to papers for service which should be emailed to paperservice@polkcountywi.gov. PLEASE NOTE: Your papers may not be processed for service if pre-payment has not been made or we do not have everything we need (to include a completed Information Sheet).
