THE CURRENT TAX YEAR IS 2023
To access the Polk County tax information, please click on the link below. This link will bring you to a site which will allow you to search the tax database for any tax information. You can search by name, address, parcel number, section-town-range, and other choices. This site is integrated with the mapping site. Please look around and experiment with the different functions. If you have any questions, please contact our office.
Not all physical property addresses are in our tax database. If you put in an address and nothing appears, please try searching by owner name. We suggest using the full last name and the first two (or more) letters of the first name. You will want to make sure that all the other fields are empty - especially the address. If you put in a name and address, and we do not have the address in our records it will not find any matches.
Tax data from the year 2000 forward is available on-line. Once you have chosen a parcel, you will be able to view all the years for that tax record.
The 2023 taxes will be calculated in December, 2023, and will be available online as they are calculated.
**Reminder: Any payment for 2023 taxes made in January must be made at the local municipality, for both 1st half payment or full payment**
The Polk County Treasurer DOES NOT take ANY 2023 tax payments until Thursday, February 1, 2024.
