Report significant blue-green algae blooms to DNRHABS@wisconsin.gov and please include: the location of the bloom, the name of the water body, nearest town, county, the size and duration of the bloom, and overall and close-up photographs for verification. How do you report potential heath effects caused by a blue-green algae bloom?
Report potential health effects caused by a blue-green algae bloom by visiting the Department of Health Services website https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/water/bg-algae/index.htm.htm or contact the Bureau of Environmental and Occupational Health at 608-266-1120.
